Howard Boston series VII 14K gold pocket watch. If you’re unfamiliar with E Howard Boston, it is a much earlier company than E Howard Keystone. The E Howard watches were considered very high grade in their time, and they were also very accurate. E Howard watches are some of the most rare of all American made pocket watches because there aren’t that many made and still around. On some of the previous pocket watch listings I got asked why I didn’t service them. The answer is that we are a very busy repair shop and between me and my father we can only work on so many each day. We have an inventory that we need to sell and do not have time to service all. That doesn’t mean that theres something wrong with the watch. I’ll describe what I have and what it is and you decide what its worth. I don’t hide things so you will know exactly what you’re getting. This particular watch I wound and tested several days and it has worked fine and kept good time. Im not sure when it was last serviced, but you should definitely service any watch before using it (I’ll leave that up to the lucky new owner). The watch features a 14k solid gold open face case, an enamel dial with Roman numerals, (in excellent condition), original blued steel hands (good condition), glass crystal, and a 15 jewel series VII movement.
