Here’s Hamilton’s ultimate industrial style railroad case, the #6, with a super wide, thick construction, smooth back, Chaplin’s Modern Times type back and bezel pattern, the thick railroad approved style of neck, high, wide and wind-able original crown, distinct indestructible model bow and all the classic railroad-ready features!! This highly collectible and fine case is in fully serviceable condition. I have restored and detailed this case right down to the threads so you get the best looking and working case possible! The back and bezel thread up easily, screw on and off smoothly, and both seat tight. The matching replacement crown’s fluting is like-new for a tight, sure grip, and it turns freely but, by design, does not extract, so only a lever-set e. Hamilton railroad-grade movement will work inside. The bow is also its correct engraved and matching original, shows zero brass or damage, and swings loose. The crystal is a near-mint medium-domed plastic model with no distractions. This fine case fits all standard-featured lever-set-ONLY movements. The case does show exceptionally minimal wear, including light, gently distributed superficial scratching, zero marrings or doodlings, zero brass anywhere detectable, and absolutely, positively no sign of any dents, dings, dimples or depressions!!
