Superb condition one Star Rarity 17 Jewel 16 size Illinois Getty Tu tone model 176 Gold filled Hunter case pocket watch. Outstanding Mint condition Double sunk White porcelain dial with clean black Roman Numerals and Beautiful Blue colored hands. Dial has only one super light. Tiny spider line near the 7. It’s truly a beautiful dial. The Front cover springs open strong to a perfect 90 degrees. All case covers open, close and snap shut perfectly together. Bow with a super sharp crown. The crystal is super clean. The movement is gleaming and super sharp with just a few light oxidized spots and abrasions. The Illinois 17 jewel movement serial number 1366001 dates to 1897. The 16 size 3/4 plate Getty model 4 lever set movement is adjusted to temp/ positions and has nice Two tone Gold checker demaskeening and polished Gold jeweled settings with a spotless winding wheel. It’s a 17 Jewel model 176 Hunter case Pocket watch that winds sets and runs outstanding with all pivots lightly oiled and the balance with unbelievable beautiful motion and has been keeping outstanding time. Note all of my pocket watches have been personally serviced and restored to there best working order according to there age and condition. It’s a High quality Rare model 176 Illinois Hunter movement with a run quantity of only 100 and a super low total production rate of 1,980. The Amazing mint condition Philadelphia Victory 10 year Gold Filled case is unbelievable with beautifully Raised detailed design and super sharp crisp machining design on both front and rear cover and a beautiful open shield on both front and back. The case has absolutely no wear thru or brassing at all and has very light use. The Gold Filled case also has a super solid feel. One of the nicest cases I have owned. There are two small dots on the inside front cover where someone had checked the gold content and a few scratches on the inside dust cover. Just to note, otherwise undistracting. The Rare Getty Hunter two tone models are becoming harder to come by and this is one that. I have personally enjoyed carrying.
