I wound and ran this watch for about 12 hours and it started up on it’s own and kept pretty accurate time within a minute or two, but I can not ensure it’s accuracy to keep exact time and due to it’s age it may require a good cleaning or service. Condition : Runs and Keeps Time, Starts on it’s own when wound (Around 11th wind)Winds Properly & Hands Set Smoothly. Dial : Double Sunk Metal – Very Clean – Few Light Scratches, Black Numeral Markers. Crystal : Very Clear Glass – No Cracks or Chips just a few surface scratches. Hands : Blued Steel – Great Condition – No Rust or Corrosion. This Pocket Watch Case is made by Star Watch Case Company and is an Art Deco Gold Filled Case. It is a screw on Bezel and Rear Case Lid. The inside lid is signed ” Star Watch Case Co – Scepter” and is serial numbered #5500453. This case has brassing on the outside of the Rear Case Lid along with some dings and scratches. The front bezel is in excellent condition with a great design and no brassing. All Case lids screw on & off easily and screw down nice and tight.
