Pocket Watch Case

You are looking at vintage railway Hamilton 950 watch. No collection of Railroad watches is complete without a top of the line 23 jewel production Hamilton. This particular one dates back to a 1927 production year and checks all the boxes. It’s in excellent condition with no significant visible wear and tear. Runs great and very clean. Dial is original porcelain Boxcar style with a few superficial hairlines at the edge almost invisible to the naked eye. The case is a Hamilton 10K GF and shows no wear through the plating but has a few dents on the back. Screws well on both sides. Movement is a classic 950 caliber, all original with serial numbers on the main plate, balance bridge and fork bridge matching. On one of the pictures you can see disassembled movement with serial visible on the balance bridge. Below is a detailed explanation of condition: Dial: Very good. Double sunk dial shows a few fine hairlines at the very edge, invisible when face over is on. Straight and true black hands. Show very minor wear. Very minor signs of wear and tear. Some superficial faint scratches and a few dents on the back. Screws well, both sides. Just serviced, runs strong and accurate with good power reserve. The watch runs strong and was serviced just days ago. It went through a complete overhaul with movement being taken completely apart, cleaned, oiled and regulated. Very clean and shiny.
