Pocket Watch Case

I have up for sale a Lovely Antique / Vintage Original circa 1898 Ladies 14K Gold Filled 25 Year Dueber Special Case Lever Set Hampden Ladies 3/0 size 11 Jewel Movement Pendant / Pocket Watch. It has a Gorgeous Case with a Flying Bird and Floral Design, its an outstanding case and in Great Shape. The serial number on the movement is 1167076 which dates manufacture to approx 1898 , 11 Jewels, Lever Set, Model 3, Grade No. 400AAA (in Banner), 3/0 size, mechanical movement watch. The case is Drop Dead Gorgeous! The porcelain dial face is Excellent with no damages nor any repairs. The Bezel Ring and Crystal are missing, so you will have to address that issue yourself. The watch ran for me over the past few days but its inconsistent and needs servicing. It had been sitting unused in a drawer for many many years and was nearly full wound when I first wound it , it ran for a while and stopped. Let it lay gave it a shake and it started back up. What that tells me is that the movement needs a good cleaning and oiling. It may need repair but servicing is a must. What it really needs is Servicing by a professional, a bezel ring and crystal, and some work done on the hands. The case is Awesome. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING, PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX, AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
