Antique 1780s ENGLISH SILVER REPOUSSE PAIR CASE VERGE FUSEE POCKET WATCH running
Good verge fusee pocket watch from 1780s. Movement is signed by Samson in London and bears serial number. Dial is nicely painted with ships on the river. Outer case is made in repousse technique and is decorated by antique scene. London hallmarks dates inner case to 1786. Case seems to be in generally good condition. The dial has defect near to the center, please see photos. Good quality verge movement of second half XVIII. Movement is nice and clean, probably was serviced recently. It’s in good working condition, though I don’t guarantee it keeps time. Outer case diameter is 51mm, height is 57mm, thickness is 25mm. Watch comes with key. Good collector item, don’t miss it.
