For your consideration is a FANTASTIC 20 jewel Patek Philippe/Shreve & Co. Pocket watch with original dial and Louis XIV hands and 18k yellow gold case out of a watchmaker’s estate. The pendant-set movement is marked: Patek Philippe & Co No 162968 Geneva Switzerland Pat. Jan 13 1891 Eight (8) Adjustments Twenty 20 Jewels Shreve & Co San Francisco. The dial is marked: Shreve & Co. There are some hairlines in the dial, but no chips – see photos. The 18k yellow gold case has a 44mm diameter, and is in great condition! There are light scratches and a few tiny dings. The case back hinge is slightly loose, and opens farther than 90 degrees – see photos. Inside the case back is marked: Shreve & Co. The inside of the dust cover is marked: 18K 194982. The movement will wind/set properly, and run when wound. We do not know the service history on this watch and can not guarantee it’s time keeping.
