Up for sale is a beautiful antique Illinois Rail Road pocket watch that is all original. It is a Grade 106, Model 2 and was made in 1883. It is size 18 and has a very nice transitional 15 jewel movement that is in excellent condition! It is in a beautifully decorated Hunter’s case with a stag and hounds design, which is in excellent condition. This is a really beautiful watch that runs great and keeps very good time! Movement : This watch runs great and keeps very good time. The very nice original lever set movement is a transitional key wind/stem wind with 15 jewels, adjusted. It has a Wheeler’s patented regulator and is in excellent condition. Dial : The original double sunk dial is in very good condition, and the hands are also the original. Case : The original beautifully decorated Hunter’s case is in excellent condition. It is decorated with a very nice and unusual stag and hounds design! The covers work as they should, although the front cover opens a little past 90 degrees. This really beautiful watch is ready to display or carry!
