Mint Quadruple Cased Fusee Lever Edward Prior Turkish Market Pocket Watch c. This listing is for mint quadruple cased pocket watch by Edward Prior, London. Made for the Turkish market c. Museum quality, complete, in near mint condition and good working order – as good as they get! It comes complete with its original 4 cases. Outer wooden leather clad case, tortoise shell & silver case and then silver pair case. Inner silver cases are hallmarked for London 1878 – the movement was probably cased after Prior stopped working. The outer case is in remarkably good condition considering its age, some wear the base. The tortoise shell case is also in near mint condition no losses to the shell or pins. Inner silver pair cases are in excellent condition. Larger silver case with detailed engravings of high quality – no wear or damage to either case. Please study the pictures (please message me if you’d like some more pics). The watch has an English fusee lever, chain driven movement. Engraved balance cock and steel regulator disk Movement signed Ed’w Prior, London, 79149. The movement is working well and runs the full length of the chain. The original white enamel dial is in near mint condition, signed “Edward Prior, London”. Blue steel beetle poker hands. Bullseye glass in great condition. In its outer case the watch measures approx 75mm across, 48mm deep and weighs 226 grams. The movement has been removed from the case to photograph. All my watches are tested on a flat surface.
