The star of this show is the incredibly beautiful and substantial box hinge hunting case in full solid 14KT gold! The fancy filigree hands are also gold and look great against the very nice sunken dial. The watch has a 7J ruby jewel gilt movement #3479451 in very fine condition – Model 1883, Grade 1, c. Listed as Sterling Variation. Service history is unknown. A professional service is recommended for maximum performance. The outer movement plates are very clean, the movement is running and kept accurate time over a 12 hour period. Movement is SW/LS and does so properly. Beautiful Roman dial in very nice condition, fancy hands, seconds register. DIMENSIONS: Movement: size 18; Case Overall: 2-3/16″ diameter, 3″ top top of crown.
