The watch has just been cleaned and serviced and the movement is in perfect working condition. It runs to the end of the fusee chain in all positions very smoothly and keeps very good time. The beautiful fire gilt movement is signed. Three arm steel balance. Beautiful engraved top plate and balance cock. Main spring barrel with worm – classic feature for early verge movements. The movement is in wonderful condition. Is very well listed in all the reference books. Early original signed: Wilter, London. The dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic outside numerals for the minutes. Fully functional date indicator. Beautiful engraved birds in the center.
