Clear and clean with good definition on numerals and signature. Signed Carter London on cartouches in the center. Both stamped 181 CW. Outer case with 7 piece hinge… Both in good order and closing nicely. Minor dings on both cases. Thomas Carter London listed in Brittens C. C 1699 there is also a listing in the national archives (kew) for a will of Thomas Carter watchmaker of st micheal city of London, dated 22 june 1705. 55 mm diameter about 25 mm thick.
