Pocket Watch Case

1893 Elgin Victorian Aesthetic Design Engraved GF 6s Hunter Pocket Watch Case. The watch movement looks like it has been exposed to water at some point in it’s history and you can see water deposits as well as rust on the movement in the photos. The watch is missing the crystal. The watch dial has 3 small hairline cracks. The blued watch hands are still present and show some wear. The Keystone watch case is a different story from the watch movement. The Aesthetic engraved design depicts 2 birds on a branch among some flowers on the front case cover and 2 birds with the same flowers with a house in the background on the back watch case cover. Other than a small spot on the watch bow, there is no wear-through to the base metal on the watch case. The back case cover and inner dust cover close and fit well. The front case cover closes and latches well, but there is a small gap. Other than wiping the case off with some Windex and a paper towel, I have not cleaned or polished the watch case.
