Antique Waltham 18s Pocket Watch, Coin Silver Ohara Dustproof Hunting Case
Offered for sale is an antique American Watch Co. This is an 18-size watch, and measures approximately 56mm (2-1/8) diameter. This watch features a 3-ounce O’Hara Dustproof Coin Silver hunting case, an 11-jewel Stem-wind lever-set movement, and a single-sunk porcelain dial with blue steel spade hands. The O’Hara Dustproof case is rather unusual, in that it features a screw back, and hinged inner cuvette. The case is in good condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry. The cover spring is weak, so the front cover must sometimes be lifted manually. The case has a blank cartouche on the front which is partially worn away. The dial is in excellent condition.
