Waltham 16S 23J lever set (LS) adj. 6p Vanguard U&D indicator pocket watch #25896170, beautiful nickel bridge-style movement with raised gold jewel settings, gold center wheel and an elaborate concentric circle damascene pattern, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with bold boxcar style Arabic numbers, subsidiary power and seconds registers and is marked “Waltham Vanguard 23 Jewels”, the dial is free from hairlines or notable damage, however the Waltham markings are slightly faded, bold blue steel spade & whip style hands, Waltham-marked Keystone yellow gold filled (YGF) screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with a distinctive engraving design of small spots filling the center of the case and surrounded by wavy and curvy lines with a floral detail at 6 o’clock and a fancy blank rectangular monogram shield at 12 o’clock, spot-style engraving design on the bezels, heavy hidden pendant and a fancy engraved bow, case is showing light even wear overall with a small bit of smoothing on the edge of the back cover along with a small bit of brass at the top of the fancy bow, measures approx. 51mm in diameter x 66mm in length x 15mm thick (crystal included). A very high grade triple signed Waltham from the 1920s in excellent+ condition throughout! Any rulers shown for scale give measurements in centimeters (with millimeter gradients), NOT inches.
