Early 1909 Hamilton 950 23-Jewel R. R. Grade In 14K Solid Gold Case
The camera cannot capture the beauty of this early Hamilton 950 R. Grade pocket watch that is in a beautiful 14K Solid Gold open face case. This is absolute MUST have in your railroad watch collection! The 950s are hard to find! Especially, in this amazing condition! The case does have two separate hallmarks for the 14K solid gold on the inside of case and dust cover (See photos). Both the front and back of the case are hinged to open. All hinges and latches work as they should. The double sunk enamel dial is in near mint condition with no hairlines or chips on the dial. Black bold numbers and Champagne color hands with the perfect glass crystal. This watch is a stem wind and lever set. The lever is located at the “1″. The damskeening on this 23-Jewel movement is just absolutely breathtaking to see in person. This is adjusted for 5 positions. Motor barrel 23 Jewel. This watch has been fully serviced by our Certified Master watchmaker and keeps great time! Our watchmaker was also a railroad watch inspector many years ago and has been certified on regulating the time keeping on these railroad watches within a few seconds a day!
