14k Ladies Elgin Hunter Case Pocket Watch and Movement For Parts or Repair – Ladies size Os. I HAVE TESTED THE RAW EDGES OF THIS WATCH AND THE RESULTS ARE SHOWN IN MY PHOTOS. The results show 14K except for the inner dust cover which tests silver with gold plating. The gold fill is very heavy in this piece. The hands, crystal and retaining bezel are missing. The watch has been engraved. The watch is missing the hands and crystal and the bezel that holds the crystal in place. It was stolen by a watch repair person some time ago. The watch is overwound. The gold filled case tests 14K yellow gold except the inner dust cover that tests gold plated silver. The test was photographed after 10 minutes, allowing the acid to dissolve but no dissolving took place. The weight of the watch is almost 57 grams – my scale says 56.91 grams.
