Offered for sale is an antique Hamilton 992 (USA) open-faced railroad pocket watch, probably ca. This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 51mm (2) diameter. This watch features a Hamilton model #2 (by Wadsworth) 10k gold-filled screw back and bezel bar-over-crown case, a 21-jewel adjusted stem-wind lever-set Railroad Grade 992 movement, and a double-sunk porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and blue steel spade hands. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry and no visible brassing. The dial is in excellent original condition, showing no visible cracks or chips. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.
