Size : 54mm, excluding stem. Case : Unsigned decorative gold plated hunter case, engine tuning with vacant cartouche in the middle, coined edge sides, it has a hinged cuvette, front & back cover and all works fine, case closure shut tightly. But the front cover opens at about 120° so it may need some adjustment. Dirty with stains, normal wear and marks. NOT original and was glued to the bezel. Dial : White enamel dial with. Cracks and chips, hairline, dirty with stains. Beautiful blue steel hands set. Black Arabic numerals with outer minutes scale and subsidiary seconds dial. Movement : Pendant wind and lever set, gilt 3/4 plate movement, lever escapement with 7 jewels, running condition but sluggish so may need cleaning, accuracy not timed, compensation balance with blue steel hairspring, balance staff is OK, signed NEW YORK STANDARD WATCH Co. Overall a descent pocket watch and believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after restoration/replacement of the dial and adding a suitable glass.
