Highly jewelled Swiss keyless lever movement, signed Le Coultre underneath the hammer. With Breguet overcoil hairspring, bimetallic balance, Swan’s neck. And visible polished steel hammers to strike the hours, quarters. Unique centrifugal governor with patent number. Push repeating, case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered. The original white enamel dial is flawless, gold hands. The watch is in exceptional condition. No dents or repair, no soldering, all parts are original. All the hinges are perfect, nothing is loose, it opens and closes as it should. Mermod Freres was founded in Sainte-Croix, Switzerland in 1816 and for many years focused on the manufacture of music boxes and pocket watches. It was also one of the most highly regarded brands in the Swiss watch industry. It won 27 gold medals at world exhibitions. Heavy thick case 54 x 15 mm / 102 g.
