Offering for sale is this Lot Antique Silver Tone Pocket Watch Case & Chain 5 Miniature Bone Gambling Dice. It looks like it once held a railroad type watch and was repurposed into a pocket game. The five hand carved bone dice measure approximately 1/4 of an inch. Case measures approximately 2.25 in diameter by 5/8ths thickness in inches; made of non-magnetic silver colored metal. There are no markings on anything. Comes with a 16 inch long silver bars pocket watch chain. The case features an ornate art nouveau design with a place for engraving ones initials. It will make a nice addition to ones collection or as a unique one of kind gift. They are in excellent used condition – There is usage wear and patina; there are no big dents, bends or repairs. Both of the watch chain clasps are sturdy and function perfectly. One can play poker dice with it closed or easily remove the crystal bezel to access the dice. T he dice were made of bovine beef cattle bones. The metal cylinder box is in excellent shape and the lid fits securely. Nice piece of Americana History that would make a unique gift.
